ISOHunt Torrent Search Engine Ordered to remove Illegally shared content

The pirate Bay , Miniova and now ISOHunt. The entertainment industry is picking them apart one by one. Not only is ISOHunt one but there are supposedly three other websites as well. Which include www.isohunt.com, www.podtropolis.com, www.torrentbox.com and www.ed2k-it.com was ordered by the U.S. District court for the Central Distric of California that checks and tries to stop sites from putting up copyright matrial ordered ISOHunt to remove all its copyright martial.

Fung, who runs the company ISO Web Technologies, has said he would not take steps to prevent copyright infringement unless ordered by a court, according to court documents.
Fung was sued by Columbia Pictures because more than 95 % of the material on the site infringes copyright. Fung is also prohibited from hosting, indexing or linking to torrents that point to copyrighted works or running tracker servers, which coordinated the download of content on a peer-to-peer network.

The court also made sure that the sites could not processing searches using terms associated with file sharing, such as "warez," "Axxo," "Jaybob," "DVD Rips," "Cam," "Telesync," "Telecine," "Screener" and "PPV," the injunction read.

Fung will be provided with lists of infringing content that he must remove. If he does not, he could be held in contempt of court, or be subject to other penalties.
